Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking an experienced Licensed Audiologist to perform VA Compensation & Pension evaluations on a flexible, contract basis. This non-treatment role focuses on testing, evaluation, and documentation for Veterans, with structured DBQ reporting and adherence to VA guidelines.

As a 1099 contractor, you will conduct objective assessments, manage time efficiently, and ensure unbiased, timely reports, with in-person opportunities available and a private-pay organization backing

Qualifications

• Active audiologist license and structured evaluation experience.
• Ability to follow VA C&P evaluation protocols and guidelines.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Use DBQs and standardized testing protocols for documentation.
• Gather history via focused interviews and complete audiometric testing.
• Prepare clear VA-formatted reports with objective findings.
• Maintain boundaries between evaluation and treatment and meet deadlines.
