Empower Mental Health is seeking an experienced Audiologist to conduct VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) evaluations as a 1099 independent contractor. This non-treatment role focuses on evaluation, testing, and documentation for Veterans, with flexible scheduling and in-person opportunities.

The ideal candidate will hold an active audiologist license and possess strong documentation skills, with experience following VA guidelines and providing objective, unbiased assessments.

Qualifications

• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.
• Comfortable performing objective, fact-based evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Gather history via focused interviews and complete testing.
• Prepare reports in VA-required formats with clarity and timeliness.
• Maintain objectivity and ethical standards in evaluations.
