Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking an experienced Audiologist to conduct VA Compensation & Pension evaluations on a flexible, independent-contractor basis. This role focuses on evaluation, testing, and documentation, without patient treatment obligations.

You will perform structured C&P audiology assessments, document findings, and prepare VA-compliant reports. A valid audiology license and eligibility to practice, plus familiarity with VA DBQs, are required.

• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.
• Comfortable performing objective, fact-based evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA Compensation & Pension audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Utilize DBQs and standardized audiology testing protocols.
• Gather history through focused, objective interviews.
• Complete audiometric testing and related documentation.
• Prepare reports in VA-required formats with clarity and timeliness.
• Provide unbiased assessments without influencing outcomes.
• Submit documentation within required timeframes.
• Maintain boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards.
