Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking a licensed Audiologist to conduct VA-related Compensation & Pension evaluations. This is a non-treatment, evaluation-focused role offering flexible scheduling and the opportunity to supplement income through structured assessments for Veterans.

The position requires an active Audiologist license, access to VA-ready diagnostic equipment, and strong documentation skills. It is a 1099 Independent Contractor arrangement with pay per evaluation ($150–$185) and no

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Audiologist license.
• Access to calibrated audiometer capable of VA evaluations.
• Access to diagnostic tympanometer for tympanometry and reflex testing.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing loss and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Review medical records and obtain focused history.
• Execute audiometric testing and document results per VA formats.
• Prepare clear, concise reports and ensure timely submission.
• Maintain boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and confidentiality requirements.
