Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of Income Maintenance Caseworker experience required.
• Graduation from a four-year accredited college or university preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take applications and determine eligibility for Food and Nutrition Services, Adult Medicaid, TANF, or Family and Children's Medicaid.
• Interview clients, verify information, maintain and update case records.
• Apply written policy to determine eligibility and refer to supervisor when clarification is needed.
• Respond to disasters and emergencies as required by Cumberland County DSS policy.
• Use online program manuals and DSS Administrative Letters to guide decisions.
