Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Telesales Specialist, RSG, to handle inbound calls and sell community training classes and store products. You will act as a consultant to uncover customer needs and recommend suitable courses and items. This role includes processing payments and updating records in Salesforce.

Employees receive an hourly wage with a commission-based incentive plan and potential bonuses during performance periods. Salary is location-based and reviewed during screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience in a Call Center (B2C not required)
• Ability to multi-task across multi-system platforms
• Strong influence and negotiation skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls for customers interested in training courses or store products
• Uncover customer needs and propose appropriate training classes or store products
• Document and update cases in Salesforce
• Upsell store products that complement class enrollment
• Process credit card transactions and place orders
• Maintain customer satisfaction and address concerns about classes or products
