Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be a key contact for customers, handling orders, requests, and providing timely, professional support. This role emphasizes top-quality customer experiences and proactive communication, with inbound call sales and product assistance as core duties.

Expect a daytime, Monday–Friday schedule with a pay rate starting at $23.00 per hour, dependent on experience, in a role that values communication skills, service passion, and tactful problem

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience preferred.
• High School education required.
• 2 year or 4 year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer experience is top notch in quality.
• Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls and written correspondence in a professional, timely manner, ensuring follow up on all customer issues.
• Take an active role in selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls.
• Provide support on product selection and application.
• Coordinate customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit and claims.
