Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be a key contact for customers, ensuring total satisfaction. You will interact with customers, enter orders, handle requests and provide timely, courteous support.

In this role you will manage calls and written correspondence, assist with product selection, and coordinate requests including pricing, expediting, billing and claims. Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm, with pay rate of $26.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact.
• Some retail or counter sales experience preferred.
• High School education.
• 2 year or 4 year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer experience is top notch in quality.
• Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls and written correspondence in a professional, timely manner, ensuring follow up on all customer issues.
• Take an active role in selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls.
• Provide support on product selection and application.
• Coordinate customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit and claims.
