Job summary

Graybar Electric Company is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be a key contact for customers, entering orders, handling requests and providing timely, professional support to ensure total satisfaction.

You will interact with customers on an ongoing basis, assist with product selection and pricing, coordinate service requests, and help resolve issues with courtesy and tact. Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, pay $24.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits described in the listing.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to handle a variety of customer situations with tact.
• Retail or counter sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer experience is top notch in quality.
• Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls and written correspondence in a professional, timely manner, ensuring follow up on all customer issues.
• Take an active role in selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls.
• Provide support on product selection and application.
• Coordinate customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit and claims.
