Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be a key liaison for customers, entering orders and handling requests with timely, professional, and courteous support to ensure total satisfaction.

Responsibilities include handling calls, expediting orders, assisting with product selection, and coordinating billing and claims. Mon-Fri, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, starting at $21.00 per hour depending on experience and location.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact.
• Some retail or counter sales experience preferred.
• High School education 2 year or 4 year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer experience is top notch in quality.
• Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls and written correspondence professionally and timely, with follow-up on all issues.
• Take an active role in selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls.
• Provide support on product selection and application.
• Coordinate customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit and claims.
