Job summary

UnitedHealthcare in Miami, FL is hiring for a Sales Development Program. The role focuses on handling inbound calls to qualify leads, advise on insurance products, and guide enrollment over the phone.

Training is fully onsite with scheduling decided after training, and we support obtaining state licenses during the program. The position offers a base salary plus monthly sales incentives, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates and an additional $1,000 if licensure is obtained at time

Qualifications

• Currently in final year of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree (or obtained degree no longer than 24 months prior to position start date).
• Bachelor’s Degree must be obtained prior to start of employment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls from prospective members to identify assistance needs and qualify leads.
• Consult customers on insurance needs and match products and benefits.
• Assist enrollment over the phone with accurate information and required details.
• Meet performance, attendance and consumer experience goals.
• Maintain licensure/appointments and product certification requirements.
