Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is expanding its Denver-area Sales Development Program to hire Early Careers Sales Agents in Englewood, CO. Training is onsite and fully paid, with schedules set by the Hiring Manager after training.

In this inbound role, you will earn a base salary plus monthly incentives, with a sign-on bonus and a path to state licensure (no license required to start). The program includes comprehensive training and opportunities to advance within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree must be obtained prior to start of employment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Preferred qualification: work or volunteer experience in sales, customer service, health care, or health insurance.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls from prospective members and identify needs to convert to a qualified lead and sale.
• Ask appropriate questions and document information in computer systems.
• Explain the differences between products and assist enrollment.
• May outbound calls to members for follow-up.
• Meet goals for performance, attendance, and consumer experience.
• Maintain requirements for agent licensure, appointments, and annual product certification.
