Job summary

Graybar Electric Company is hiring a Customer Service Representative in the United States. You will be a primary contact for customers, entering orders, handling requests, and providing timely, courteous support to ensure total satisfaction.

You will assist with product selection, pricing, expediting, billing, and coordinating service requests while maintaining high service levels. Prior retail or counter sales experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact.
• Some retail or counter sales experience preferred.
• High School education 2 year or 4 year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer experience is top notch in quality.
• Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls and written correspondence in a professional, timely manner, ensuring follow up on all customer issues.
• Take an active role in selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls.
• Provide support on product selection and application.
• Coordinate customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit and claims.
