Job summary

GPC’s Inbound Operations Supervisor leads a team responsible for scheduling, receiving, stocking and reconciliation of inbound freight. You will enforce safety standards, optimize processes, and mentor staff in a fast-paced DC environment.

The role emphasizes engagement, problem-solving, and cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high operational standards and collaboration with senior DC leadership.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in a distribution center or similar environment.
• 2+ years’ experience in a managerial role and/or leading teams.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Promapp, Power BI, Visio, etc.
• Customer-centric mindset with data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and implement efficient inbound operations including scheduling, unloading, and put-away.
• Maintain organized inbound freight areas and ensure accurate reconciliations.
• Lead a team to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets while controlling costs.
• Collaborate with DC management to investigate errors and drive corrective actions.
• Drive continuous process improvements and mentor team members.
