Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be a key contact for customers, entering orders and handling requests with timely, professional service.

You will handle calls and written correspondence, assist with product selection and applications, and coordinate requests including pricing, expediting, billing and claims to ensure total satisfaction.

Shift is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm; Graybar offers a comprehensive benefits package and employee ownership culture.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact.
• Some retail or counter sales experience preferred.
• High School education.
• 2 year or 4 year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer experience is top notch in quality.
• Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls and written correspondence in a professional, timely manner, ensuring follow up on all customer issues.
• Take an active role in selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls.
• Provide support on product selection and application.
• Coordinate customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing and claims.
