Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be a key liaison with customers, ensuring total satisfaction. You will handle orders, inquiries, and follow ups with a professional approach.

Qualified candidates bring strong communication skills and retail or counter sales experience. A High School diploma is required, with two- or four-year degrees preferred; typical hours are Mon-Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact.
• Retail or counter sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key contact for customers, entering orders and handling requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Take an active role in selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls.
• Provide support on product selection and application; coordinate order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credits and claims.
