Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as a key contact for customers, entering orders, handling requests and resolving issues with professionalism.

You will answer inbound calls, support product selection and application, and actively upsell Graybar goods and services while maintaining timely follow-up and accuracy in every interaction. Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact.
• High School education; 2/4 year degree preferred.
• Some retail or counter sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders, handle requests and provide timely, courteous support.
• Handle incoming and outgoing calls and written correspondence with follow-up.
• Actively upsell Graybar goods and services on inbound calls.
• Provide product selection and application support.
• Coordinate service requests including pricing, expediting, billing and credits.
