Job summary

Best Buy in Springfield, MO seeks a part-time Seasonal Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support at our store. You’ll assess customers’ needs, perform basic services and collaborate with others on more complex repairs.

You will help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement options, while monitoring service queues and providing accurate status updates to customers. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• 3 months retail or customer service experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow‑up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses and partner with fellow agents.
