Job summary

Best Buy in Fayetteville, AR, is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support and solutions for computers and devices. You will be trained and supported to assess customer needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on complex repairs.

You will help customers set up new devices, provide guidance on repair vs. replacement, and keep customers informed on service progress while maintaining up-to-date knowledge through ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow‑up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
