Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support in-store. You will assess customer needs, perform basic services and partner with other agents on complex repairs, while learning through training resources provided by the company.

You’ll guide customers on device setup, advise on repair vs replacement, and keep service queues moving with accurate status updates. A passion for technology and strong communication are key.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Willingness to learn and help customers with technology questions.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand tech issues by asking questions, listening and noting details.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses.
• Communicate clearly with fellow agents.
