Job summary

Best Buy is hiring a Geek Squad Agent in Farmington, NM. You’ll be the first point of contact for technology support, assisting customers with setup, repair decisions, and device advice. Training and resources are provided to assess needs and coordinate with other agents for complex repairs.

Expect a dynamic retail environment with opportunities to improve technical knowledge through certified trainings, and daily collaboration with team members to deliver great customer service.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and providing time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses.
• Communicate and partner with fellow agents.
