Best Buy's Geek Squad Agent serves as the first point of contact for technology support in-store, receiving training and resources to assess customer needs and perform basic services. You’ll collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs and help customers decide repair or replacement options.

The role emphasizes friendly, knowledgeable service, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and ongoing skill development to assist families and friends with tech questions.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening and noting details.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs. replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through certified training courses.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate with fellow agents.
