Job summary

Best Buy’s Geek Squad Agent role invites you to be the first point of contact for technology support in our local store. You’ll assess customer needs, perform basic services and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months in retail or customer service experience.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout process
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents
