Job summary

Best Buy Geek Squad Agent role in Virginia offers hands-on technology support at the store level. You will be the first point of contact, helping customers with devices and tech issues, while collaborating with other agents to resolve more complex repairs.

Training and resources are provided to assess needs, set expectations, and decide on repair vs. replacement, with a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.

• Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, positive service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, and providing time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
