Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support at our Overland Park store. You’ll receive training to assess customer needs, perform basic services and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

You will handle check-in/check-out service, diagnose tech issues, advise on repairs or replacements, and maintain knowledge through ongoing training. A flexible schedule including holidays and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service
• Passion for technology and desire to solve problems
• Ability to adapt and learn new skills in a fast-paced industry

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and taking detailed notes
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs replacement
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses
• Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents
• Work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends
