Job summary

Best Buy in Holyoke, MA is seeking a part-time Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for customers needing technology support and guidance. You’ll assess needs, provide basic services, and collaborate with other agents for more complex repairs.

You’ll build knowledge through training, set clear expectations with customers, and help them decide whether to repair or replace devices, all while delivering friendly, in-store service.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
