Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Advanced Repair Technician (Agent) to work at our Hammond store, providing technology support and repairing devices. You will listen to customer needs, partner with teams, and follow procedures to diagnose and repair products, delivering strong customer experiences.

You will perform repairs, maintain documentation, and stay current with certifications through ongoing training while supporting a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting or repairing technology products.
• Experience actively using and learning about consumer electronics.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair devices; advise customers in person and by phone.
• Maintain timely follow-up and meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Collaborate with teammates to document requests and repairs.
• Complete repairs promptly and escalate issues with leadership.
• Keep technical knowledge and certifications up to date through training.
