Job summary

Grainger is hiring a Branch Sales Associate to connect with walk-in customers, drive sales, and operate warehouse tasks. You will guide product selection, process orders, and safely load vehicles, balancing sales with accuracy and safety.

You'll also handle backorders, stock replenishment, and merchandising while learning Grainger's systems. Flexibility to work various branch hours and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Walk-in customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to maximize sales opportunities.
• Familiarity with warehouse processes and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, order entry, and loading the customer's vehicle.
• Look for ways to maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication style for email, phone, or in person.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will call orders/shipping product.
• Prepare customer backorders and put away stock received.
• Help with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Perform inventory counts.
• Learn and navigate computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse tasks.
• Perform housekeeping to meet Grainger standards and follow safety guidelines.
