Job summary

Grainger's Branch Sales Associate role focuses on connecting with walk-in customers, guiding product choices, and accurately entering orders while safely loading vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience, from product selection to order entry and loading the customer's vehicle.
• Look for ways to maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication style for email, phone, or in person.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will call orders/shipping product.
• Prepare backorders and put away stock received.
• Help with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Perform inventory counts.
• Learn and navigate computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities.
• Keep branch appearance to Grainger standards.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE.
