Job summary

Grainger is seeking a Branch Sales Associate for an onsite role in the United States. You will connect with walk-in customers, guide product choices, and drive sales while handling warehouse tasks.

You will report to the Store Manager, adapt communication for in-person, phone, or email interactions, and contribute to a safe, well-organized branch through counts, stocking, merchandising, and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Flexible to work any time within branch hours
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Learn and operate powered industrial equipment

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience including product selection, order entry, picking and loading
• Look for opportunities to maximize sales and encourage customer loyalty
• Adapt communication style for email, phone, or in person
• Pick, prepare, and stage will call orders/shipping product
• Prepare backorders and stock replenishment
• Assist with merchandising and showroom upkeep
• Perform inventory counts
• Navigate computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities
• Keep branch clean and ADA/ Grainger standards compliant
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE
