Responsibilities

• Process freight according to store procedures.
• Assist with price changes and markdowns as needed.
• Balance register according to company policy.
• Bag merchandise efficiently during customer transactions.
• Handle cash, checks and credit cards correctly per policy.
• Obtain management approval for returns, voids and checks.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Provide courteous customer service, greet customers and assist with fittings and checkout.
• Explain exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Assist Store Manager with loss prevention procedures and report theft or dishonesty.
• Aid in merchandising the sales floor according to stock levels.
• Maintain professional appearance and wear name tag.
