CITITRENDS, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver excellent customer service and gain knowledge of merchandise to ensure satisfaction. The role requires engagement with customers, integrity, clear communication, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic retail environment.

The Sales Associate contributes to a positive work culture, supports change management, and helps drive employee involvement within Store Operations. This position is in-store and non-exempt.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Processes freight.
• Assists with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances register according to policy.
• Bags merchandise efficiently at checkout.
• Handles cash, checks and cards per policy.
• Obtains management approval for returns, voids and checks.
• Maintains cleanliness and housekeeping as assigned.
• Delivers courteous customer service and greets customers.
• Follows safety procedures and wears name tag.
• Assists with merchandising on the sales floor as needed.
• Explains exchange/refund policies to customers.
• Supports Loss Prevention efforts and reports theft or incidents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
