Based in-store, the Sales Associate will help drive a positive work culture, support changes in the retail operation, and collaborate with Store Management to maintain high standards of service and presentation.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Processes freight
• Assists with price changes/markdowns
• Balances register according to company policy
• Bags merchandise efficiently during transactions
• Handles cash, checks and credit cards per policy
• Obtains management approval for returns, voids and checks
• Maintains and cleans assigned areas
• Provides customer service: greeting, fitting room policy adherence, timely ringing, thank-you and invitation to return
• Follows all safety procedures
• Keeps a professional appearance with name tag
• Assists in merchandising on the sales floor according to stock levels
• Explains exchange/refund policies to customers
• Supports Loss Prevention with shoplifting prevention and reporting incidents
• Performs other duties as assigned
