Job summary

SKIMS is seeking an Assistant Store Leader of Product in Chicago to elevate merchandising, product storytelling, and guest experiences on the sales floor.

You will own visual merchandising execution, partner with the Store Leader, coach team members, and drive KPI performance through strategic product placement and customer-centric leadership. This role requires strong product knowledge, trend awareness, and an ability to lead with inclusivity during peak hours.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in a retail leadership role with a strong focus on visual merchandising, styling, or customer experience
• Proven track record of driving sales through merchandising decisions and visual floor leadership
• Strong visual merchandising skills to create impactful and visually appealing store displays
• Ability to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform product placement

Responsibilities

• Own the visual merchandising strategy and execution and ensure displays are elevated and aligned with brand objectives
• Lead with a customer-obsessed mindset through layout, storytelling, and inclusive styling
• Use product and store reporting to drive results and adjust flow to increase sell-through
• Ensure the floor supports an outstanding customer experience and is visually shoppable
• Coach Team Members on visual best practices, product knowledge, and campaign launches
• Be the product expert in-store and ensure staff can discuss fit, function, and fabric confidently
• Collaborate with HQ VM and allocation partners to share feedback on assortment and visual tools
• Oversee visual tools, supplies, and display inventory for daily execution
• Lead and maintain floor presence during peak hours with pace, polish, and presence
• Support overall store goals with KPI alignment and guest satisfaction
