Job summary

SKIMS is seeking an Assistant Store Leader – Product to partner with the Store Leader to elevate merchandising, optimize product flow, and create captivating customer experiences on the sales floor. You will own all visual merchandising execution and coach a team to ensure displays are on-brand and compelling.

You will lead product storytelling, train team members on product knowledge, and translate trends into store-ready setups that drive conversion and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of leadership in retail, focused on visual merchandising.
• Proven track record of driving sales through merchandising.
• Strong ability to lead and coach teams on visuals.
• Stays updated on fashion trends and brand storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Own visual merchandising strategy and execution.
• Lead with a customer-obsessed merchandising mindset and storytelling.
• Use store reports to drive results; adjust product flow and placement.
• Ensure floor is zoned for customer experience and replenishment.
• React quickly to trends and empower the team to re-merchandise.
• Maintain store standards of operational excellence on the floor.
• Lead product moves, visual updates, and floor sets including signage.
• Lead and train Team Members on visual best practices and product knowledge.
• Be the product expert in-store and build a team of storytellers.
• Coach selling behaviors to connect features with customer needs.
• Provide visual feedback to help the team develop placement skills.
• Communicate with HQ VM and allocation partners on assortment feedback.
• Oversee visual tools, supplies, and display inventory for daily execution.
• Bring a strong floor presence during peak hours with strategic coaching.
• Support store goals with KPIs, conversion, and guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate on launches, capsule drops, and marketing rollouts.
