Job summary

SKIMS is seeking an Assistant Store Leader – Product to partner with the Store Leader on merchandising, product storytelling, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will own visual merchandising execution, optimize product flow, coach team members, and drive store metrics like conversion and guest satisfaction while upholding SKIMS standards during peak hours, including launches and capsule drops.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a retail leadership role with a strong focus on visual merchandising, styling, or customer experience.
• Proven track record of driving sales through merchandising decisions and visual floor leadership.
• Strong visual merchandising skills to create impactful store displays.
• Ability to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, helping you make informed merchandising decisions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
• Passion for the SKIMS brand and embodying its values in every interaction.

Responsibilities

• Own the visual merchandising strategy and execution in partnership with the Store Leader.
• Lead floor layout, product storytelling, and display cohesion aligned with SKIMS branding.
• Drive results through merchandising decisions by identifying top performers and adjusting product flow.
• Ensure the floor is shoppable, monitor size integrity, replenishment, and back-of-house alignment on product strategy.
• Lead and train Team Members on visual best practices, styling, and product knowledge.
• Coach selling behaviors on the floor and connect product features to customer needs.
• Collaborate with HQ VM and allocation partners to share feedback on assortment and visual tools.
• Oversee display inventory and ensure readiness for daily execution.
• Be present on the floor during peak hours, guiding pace, service, and guest experience.
• Support store goals related to KPIs, conversion, and guest satisfaction.
• Plan and execute product launches, capsule drops, and marketing rollouts.
