Job summary

SKIMS is seeking an Assistant Store Leader of Product to support the Store Leader in keeping the shop visually elevated, ensuring store operations run smoothly and that product storytelling guides every customer interaction. You will own visual merchandising, floor layout, and product flow, train team members, and use reporting to optimize sell-through while staying aligned with the brand’s standards.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of retail leadership experience.
• Proven track record driving sales via merchandising and floor leadership.
• Strong visual merchandising skills to create impactful displays.
• Ability to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
• Passion for the SKIMS brand and customer experience.
• Must be able to stand, move, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Own the visual merchandising strategy and execution, ensuring displays align with SKIMS brand and goals.
• Lead floor layout, product storytelling, and customer-focused merchandising.
• Use store reports to drive results, identifying top performers and adjusting flow.
• Ensure floor zoning, size integrity, replenishment, and back-of-house alignment.
• React quickly to trends and empower the team to re-merchandise in the moment.
• Maintain operational excellence with clean, organized, signed displays.
• Execute product moves, visual updates, and floor sets including mannequins and signage.
• Lead and train team members on visual best practices and product knowledge.
• Be the product expert and develop a team of storytellers comfortable discussing fit, function and fabric.
• Coach selling behaviors and connect product features to customer needs.
• Provide feedback to develop eye for placement and presentation.
• Collaborate with HQ VM and allocation partners on assortment and visual tools.
• Oversee visual tools, supplies, and display inventory for daily execution.
• Maintain strong floor presence during peak hours and drive service with pace and presence.
• Support store goals with KPI alignment including conversion and guest satisfaction.
• Plan and evolve product-focused store actions, launches, capsule drops, and marketing rollouts.
• Inspire others with elevated standards, feedback, accountability, and shared ownership of the customer experience.
