Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist to be one of the first people customers meet in-store. You will help customers find products, discuss project needs, and guide them from idea to realization. The role offers opportunities to contribute through bonus plans and customer-centric service.

You will become a product expert, communicating specifications, features, and financing options, and you may work in Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, or other departments depending on store needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing sales or customer service in a sales environment with sales goals/metrics.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handling estimates, installer visits, orders, and follow-ups.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors/stores for stock replacement.
• Perform price reviews per pricing policies and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and assist customers across departments.
• Train associates on the Sales floor through on-the-job coaching and development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
