Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, assess project needs, and guide them to the right home improvement solutions. You will become a product expert, presenting features, promotions, and financing options to close sales in a fast-paced store environment.

You’ll support multiple departments, assist with orders and installations, and collaborate with vendors to ensure customer satisfaction from inquiry to completion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales, or Lowe's retail experience.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with help as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and explaining Lowe's products.
• Serve as department contact for customers and vendors, handle orders and installations.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors/stores for stock.
• Assist with pricing reviews and maintain pricing/documents.
• Support checkout functions and assist with store operations.
• Train department associates and mentor development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
