Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to be among the first associates customers meet. You will guide customers through product selections, explain features and financing options, and strive to close sales while delivering exceptional service.

The role involves working in various departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more, with emphasis on helping customers achieve home improvement goals. Health benefits and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met).
• 1 year experience in sales or customer service with sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and highlighting Lowe's products and services.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, provide project estimates, schedule installer visits, process orders, and follow up to ensure completion.
• In the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors to replace stock.
• Perform price reviews according to pricing policies and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and departmental requests for assistance.
• Train associates in the department and coach on development needs.
