Job summary

Lowe's Tulsa is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand project needs, and help them select the right home improvement products.

You will become a product expert, explaining features, promotions, and financing options to close sales while delivering friendly, consultative service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's experience (or 3 years external) if education requirement not met.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for extended periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure/registration if required by law (Lowe's will fund).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating advantages of Lowe's products and services.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors in your department, handling estimates, installer visits, orders and installations, and follow-up for project completion.
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels; work with vendors and stores to find merchandise and replacement stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing/documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and requests for assistance.
• Train associates in the department on the Sales floor with on-the-job coaching.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
