Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist in Tennessee to greet customers, understand project needs, and guide them to the right products. You will become a product expert and help customers compare specs, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

The role emphasizes serving customers, solving problems in a fast-paced setting, and collaborating with teams to ensure projects meet customer expectations. This position may be part-time based on store needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years other).
• 1 year sales or customer service experience with goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and explaining Lowe's products and services.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handling estimates and orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and store communications.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
