Apple Retail is seeking a Technical Expert to repair iPhone and other products while educating customers on repair options and services. You will help drive an inclusive, high-energy Genius Bar environment that delivers the best possible customer experience.

As a Technical Expert, you will troubleshoot hardware and software, share knowledge with the team, and contribute to ongoing learning. This role requires flexible retail hours and a strong service mindset in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Availability for schedules including nights, weekends, holidays in the retail store.
• Experience in retail or sales, or related work experience.
• Possess the visual inspection and fine motor skills to safely perform hardware repairs.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Deepen knowledge of Apple products, services, and Genius Bar repair processes to support high-quality repairs.
• Support customers with Apple product or software issues with care and empathy.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and resolve service concerns for select Apple hardware and software.
• Educate customers on relevant product options and how to buy.
• Work with team leaders to identify recurring repair problems and share feedback with Apple.
• Use knowledge of hardware and software to identify issue origins and educate others.
• Perform other tasks including customer-facing activities on or off the sales floor.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment by respecting differences and learning.
