Micro Center in Marietta, GA is hiring Retail Computer Technicians to diagnose and repair devices and assist customers at the service counter. The role offers base pay starting at $15/hour with productivity incentives that can raise rates to $18–$35/hour plus SPIFFs.

Associates will split time between service counter consultations and in-store repairs, with opportunities to earn uncapped commissions and bonuses through performance.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent; one-year related computer service repair or technical customer service experience preferred.
• CompTIA A+ certification or Apple ACMT/ACiT certifications; Apple certifications highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multi-task and adjust priorities.
• Physical requirement: lift up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods.

Responsabilidades

• Provide in-person consultations and troubleshooting at the service counter for computers and related products.
• Recommend service solutions including data backups, antivirus, warranties, and support subscriptions.
• Identify, diagnose, and document hardware or software issues across devices (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, TVs, monitors).
• Assemble custom computers for the BYO sales team.
• Maintain certifications and stay current on products and technologies.
• Manage cash till, handle transactions, and keep a clean, organized work area.
