Job summary

Ampact is seeking tutors for the Math Corps program to work with groups of students at local schools in Moreno Valley. You will lead 20–30 minute tutoring sessions, guiding up to three students per group and helping them integrate back into class routines.

In this role, you’ll receive training and ongoing coaching, track progress, and participate in a supportive learning community. The position offers daytime hours and the opportunity to contribute to student growth and confidence.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email, navigating online).
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Ability to follow instructions and accept feedback.
• Citizen or eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores in data software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
