Job summary

Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City is seeking a Shift Manager-In Room Dining to assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the In Room Dining area, ensuring service aligns with policy and quality standards.

You will supervise In Room Dining staff, manage labor and costs, train personnel, and coordinate with hotel and casino departments to deliver courteous, prompt service while maintaining sanitation and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with three years’ supervisory experience in Room Service and/or full-service restaurants.
• The ability to effectively communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the In Room Dining area.
• Ensure service is carried out in accordance with established policy and standards.
• Train and evaluate In Room Dining personnel and enforce F&B policies/procedures.
• Coordinate with hotel, casino departments to ensure courteous and prompt service.
• Maintain sanitation compliance throughout In Room Dining.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
