Job summary
Ocean-Casino-Resort is seeking a Shift Manager-In Room Dining to oversee daily operations and support the Manager in Room Dining. You will manage staff, control costs, and ensure policy compliance while delivering quality guest service in a fast-paced casino environment.
The role requires English communication, a high school diploma or GED, and supervisory experience in room service or full-service dining. Shifts include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; three years of supervisory experience in Room Service and/or full-service restaurants preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day In Room Dining operations and assist the Manager in Room Dining.
- Control labor and operating costs while ensuring policy adherence.
- Train and evaluate In Room Dining staff; enforce F&B policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with hotel, casino departments to ensure courteous, prompt service.
- Ensure sanitation compliance within In Room Dining.
- Handle guest complaints and comply with all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a safe, hazard-free work environment; support irregular shift coverage.
