Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States, providing tax expertise and end-to-end client service.

You’ll handle personal and business tax scenarios, conduct discoveries, and coordinate with a team of specialists to deliver a seamless customer experience. You will also grow the local client base, host community events, and represent Intuit’s ecosystem, including bookkeeping and payroll services.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Build local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships to drive growth and loyalty.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
