Post University is seeking an in-house Compliance & Contracts Attorney to advise stakeholders across the university on contracts, Title IX, ADA, IP, privacy, and technology matters. The role emphasizes drafting and negotiating contracts to support both in-person and online programs while ensuring compliance with laws and university policy.

The position is fully remote with very limited travel (<5%). It offers opportunities to grow expertise in higher education law while collaborating with legal, regulatory and compliance teams.

Qualifikationen

• J.D. from an accredited US law school and active bar admission in at least one state.
• Minimum two years of legal practice experience; higher education experience is a plus.
• Strong drafting, negotiating, and research abilities; attention to detail.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and present to diverse audiences.

Aufgaben

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate vendor, technology, IP, and data privacy agreements.
• Provide legal advice on compliance, ethics, and regulatory matters.
• Assist with international compliance for international students and cross-border issues.
• Support GLBA, GDPR, FERPA, NCAA, TCPA and related regulatory areas as needed.
• Conduct legal research and develop educational resources for internal teams.
• Collaborate across university stakeholders and advise on policy matters.
• Contribute to problem-solving in student and employment contexts as needed.
