Job summary

Amedisys, part of the Optum family, seeks a Per Diem Speech Pathologist to deliver in-home evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders.

Youll work with patients and families in their homes, coordinating with the care team to improve communication, safety and independence.

Requirements include state licensure, CCC-SLP, CPR; 1+ year experience preferred; salary range $74,936 to $112,404 annually.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with accredited graduate coursework and practicum.
• Current CPR certification.
• Preferred: 1+ year of experience in Speech Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team to improve communication, safety, independence and quality of life.
• Other duties as assigned.
